The K.G. section celebrated Gokulashtami, the birth of Lord Krishna which is popularly knows as Dahi Handi. An earthen pot was tied with a rope and was decorated with flowers and fruits. The Senior K.G. boys formed a human pyramid and a boy dressed as Lord Krishna climbed to the top and broke the pot with a coconut. These little Govinda pathaks were cheered ¬†and encouraged all along by the Junior K.G. and Nursery boys who sang, ‘ Govinda Ala Rey’ and ‘Go Go Go Govinda’. Every child was happy and excited with this wonderful experience.
