The Pre – Primary section is a firm believer in the age old adage – ‘A Healthy Mind In A Healthy Body’. Nothing can emphasise this more than the 6th Annual Sports Day held on Wednesday, 14th Dec 2016 at the St. Andrew’s School Quadrangle. We were honoured to have Mrs. Crescentia Issac as our distinguished Chief Guest accompanied by our Principal, Fr. Magi Murzello. The tiny tots ‘ Walked in with Pride ‘ along with their teachers. This was followed by the Athlete’s Torch Run, the Athlete’s Oath and the Declaration of the Sports Meet open, with the release of balloons having the Christmas colours – red, gold and green. The Drill displays were a feast to the eye. The races that followed, both the Flat race and the Novelty race were a splendid showcase of teamwork and co-ordination, highlighting the skills that the children have acquired through constant practice and the untiring efforts of our teachers. The days’ event culminated with the Prize Distribution, Principal’s Address, Vote of thanks and the National Anthem. This memorable function will go down memory lane at the Andrean Child Centre.
