We Andreans always ‘bee’lieve in giving and sharing. As a rejoinder to the Yellow Santa outreach project, this year we have the ‘ Yeh Lo Santa’ project which encouraged our students to bring in essentials for needy children of an orphanage.

On 26th January, our student Council Members along with the Principal, Rev. Fr. Magi Murzello and teachers; M’am Vivette, M’am Giselle and M’am Marceline visited Bal Bhavan an orphanage for girls. Our boys were touched meeting the orphans and realized how fortunate they are to have parents. An entertainment session took place wherein Kartavya Jadhav sang a patriotic song and the girls too sang and danced showcasing their talent. Fr. Magi’s trademark ‘ claps’ brought in enthusiasm amongst all.

We then went next door to ‘Jeevan Asha’ a home for the aged. Our boys interacted with the inmates and had tears flowing as they took their blessings. They brought back with them an effective message from our Principal. “Never put your parents in an old age home. Take care of them and you will be blessed.”
