Holi, the festival of colours is celebrated by Hindus in India. It signifies victory of good over evil. It falls every year in March as we welcome the Spring season. Our little ones at the Andrean Child Centre celebrated the festival in a simple way as ‘gulal’ was smeared on their cheeks and they were thrilled with joy. They also coloured a worksheet based on the festival. In the midst of all the fun, the teachers made the children aware about the importance of a safe celebration and listed the do’s & don’ts of being careful with colour play be it with family, peers, elders or animals in the neighbourhood.
